Biography:

Andy moved from Minneapolis to the Duluth area within the past year, and has been avid about being a part of and uplifting the Twin Ports performance and education scene. Andy has taught privately in his home studio for the past two years. Andy is a Saxophonist primarily, but also plays Flute, Clarinet, and Piano. When he is not teaching, he is actively performing in the Twin Ports and Twin Cities areas, and is also working on a degree in Jazz Studies from UMD. Andy also loves hiking, playing basketball, writing music, collecting records, and visiting the North Shore with friends!

Andy's qualifications are: All State Symphonic and Concert Bands (2017 & 2018), Associates of Fine Arts Degree in General Music from Anoka Ramsey Community College, 2018 recipient of Most Outstanding Instrumentalist, 2019 recipient of Most Outstanding Music Student, (in Progress) Bachelors In Music in Jazz Studies from University of Minnesota Duluth, 2020 & 2021 recipient of Kathryn A Martin and Weber Scholarship Awards at UMD, 2021 Matinee Musicale Award Winner, and studied under Marcus Strickland, Joe Mayo, Scott Johnson, Ryan Frane, Geoff Senn, and Dr. Ted Schoen.


Minimum Age:

Andy has requested a minimum age of 7 years old.
