Biography:

Emily Anderson is a violinist and private violin teacher. Emily grew up in Stillwater, MN, and began playing the violin at the age of 6. While growing up in the Twin Cities, she performed as soloist with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, the MacPhail Orchestra, and Minnesota Youth Symphonies. Emily received her BM in Violin Performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music as a student of Alexander Kerr. She then received her MM in Violin Performance at New England Conservatory in Boston, MA as a student of Donald Weilerstein. Emily performs as an orchestral and chamber musician, in addition to teaching.
