Jasmine Wei-Ting Chang has just received her Masters Degree and an Artist Diploma in Cello Performance from Frost School of Music (University of Miami) with the honor of being accepted with full scholarship and awarded as a Henry Mancini Institute Fellow for both MM & AD. There, Jasmine had the great honor to study under Ross Harbaugh from the Bergonzi String Quartet. Jasmine is originally from Taiwan, fluent in both Mandarin and English. Jasmine started music on piano at age 5; at age 8, she auditioned and got into the music school in Taiwan, where she started her cello journey. She has been pursuing her musical career in the USA since age of 15. Moved to Bloomington, Indiana at age 17 to study with Prof. Emilio Colon at Jacob School of Music, Indiana University, where she received her Bachelors Degree.

Jasmine has traveled to many places and attended many world renown summer music festivals like Summit Music Festival in New York, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, Round Top Music Festival in Texas and Castleman Quartet Program (both Fredonia & Lindfield).

Jasmine is now pursuing her DMA Doctorate Degree Program with Prof. Tanya Remenikova at the University of Minnesota.
